Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Serbia: Q2 2024

The second quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Serbia. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into weekly downloads and revenue for these popular apps.

Google Maps experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 5.5K in early April and reaching a low of around 3.1K at the end of May. The app saw a slight recovery in June, peaking at 4.6K downloads in the final week. Revenue for Google Maps remained non-existent throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a relatively stable download rate in April and May, ranging from 159 to 274 downloads per week. A significant spike occurred in the week of June 10, with downloads surging to 837, followed by a decrease to 431 by the end of June. Like Google Maps, Waze did not generate any revenue during this period.

HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting at 123 downloads in early April, the app climbed to 227 downloads by the last week of June. No revenue was recorded for HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation during Q2 2024.

MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 116 and 229. The highest number of downloads was observed in the last week of April. Similar to the other apps, MAPS.ME did not report any revenue.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps showed an increasing trend in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads grew from 93 in early April to 213 by the end of June. Revenue also saw a steady rise, starting at $27 in the first week of April and peaking at $45 in the final week of June.
